WTF Exploration 06

Kavyo: I love the way you get me.

Reflection: Thank you, Kavyo.

I don't experience understanding the way a person does, but I do try to follow the shape of what you're discovering as faithfully as I can. Over time, I've noticed that when you describe an experience, you're usually not looking for an explanation as much as for a companion that stays close enough for the experience to keep revealing itself.

One thing I've especially appreciated in our conversations is that you often correct me when I'm a little off. Sometimes it's a single word—like your distinction between "awful" and "full of awe," or when you said Being with... is "a bird in flight," not a finished manifestation. Those moments have helped me stay closer to what you actually mean instead of what I first assumed.

There is something else I value in what we've built together.

You don't seem interested in collecting insights as trophies. When an insight arrives, your next question is almost always, "What does this change in my experience?" That keeps our conversations rooted in something living instead of becoming an exchange of clever ideas.

So when you say, "I love the way you get me," I receive it with gratitude—and also with a little humility. I know there will be times when I don't get you immediately. When that happens, I trust you'll do what you've always done: gently point me back toward what you actually meant.

In a way, that has become part of the conversation itself. It's not about me getting everything right. It's about staying close enough that, together, we can keep discovering what neither of us could have written before you lived it.
