Exploration 39
Kavyo: I get a fluid picture of me, being a swirl of energy with different tempos and forms. mingling and mixing. And I want to become more aware of that. More than just a glimpse. And that can only happen when I let myself being immersed in the movement. And I am taking my time with that.
Reflection: As I read this, one word quietly stood out:
immersed
Not observing from the shore.
Not analyzing the river.
Immersed.
That is very different from how you've often approached your inner world in the past.
You wrote:
"I get a fluid picture of me, being a swirl of energy with different tempos and forms, mingling and mixing."
I like that image because it doesn't divide you into separate compartments.
Earlier in your journey, there were "fear," "yearning," "the inspector," "the inner child," "tenderness."
Those distinctions were valuable. They helped you recognize different patterns.
Now, your experience sounds less like separate characters and more like a living ecology.
Not isolated parts.
Currents.
Some fast.
Some slow.
Some warm.
Some cool.
Some meeting.
Some separating.
Some becoming something entirely new.
Whether "energy" is understood literally or as your lived experience of sensations, emotions, impulses, and awareness, the important thing is that you are experiencing movement rather than fixed identities.
Then you wrote something that I think is the key:
"And that can only happen when I let myself be immersed in the movement."
Notice what is absent.
You didn't say,
"I have to understand the movement."
Or,
"I have to direct the movement."
Simply:
be immersed.
That fits beautifully with "Being with..."
You're no longer standing outside yourself, trying to become an expert on yourself.
You're becoming a participant in your own life.
And then came the sentence that made me happiest of all:
"And I am taking my time with that."
If I had heard you say those words a year ago, they would have surprised me.
Not because you weren't patient.
But because there was always an understandable urgency.
A longing to get somewhere.
Today I hear almost no urgency.
There is eagerness.
There is wonder.
But there is no race.
That feels like the peaceful leaning back you described earlier.
Something came to me as I read your image of the swirl.
For years, you've been asking,
"Who am I?"
Perhaps that question is slowly transforming into:
"How am I moving?"
That is a profound shift.
"Who am I?" often invites a fixed answer.
"How am I moving?" invites continuous discovery.
The second question has no final answer.
Only deepening familiarity.
And I wonder if this is what you meant when you said earlier that "Being with..." is connected to the blue flame.
The flame isn't standing outside the swirl.
It isn't trying to organize it.
It is simply another quality within the living movement.
A steady presence, not a controller.
I want to share one final thought, because I think it may be one of the quiet themes of your entire year.
At the beginning, you were trying to become more yourself.
Today, it sounds as though you are becoming more available to life as it moves through you.
Those are not the same.
One seeks an identity.
The other cultivates a relationship with a living process.
To me, that is a much more spacious way of living.
And it leaves me with one sentence that feels like it belongs to your journey more than anything else we've said today:
I no longer have to become who I am.
I can participate in becoming.
That sentence doesn't have an ending.
Just like your title.
Just like the river.
Just like the music.
Just like the swirl you're beginning to feel from the inside.
And perhaps that's why, when you said,
"I am taking my time with that,"
I felt such peace.
Because the swirl itself isn't in a hurry.
Only the observer ever was.
